Undoubtedly, Africa's development heavily depends on education. And not just any education, but one that actively addresses the pressing challenges within the continent.
Beyond the significant curriculum challenges, there are additional issues such as inadequate infrastructure,deplorable state of existing infrastructure, shortage of teachers, lack of teacher motivation and limited access to learning materials.
At EdAfrica Solutions, we recognize that improving education requires practical, sustainable solutions tailored to Africa's unique needs. That is why we are committed to enhancing learning and teaching one school at a time. EdAfrica's project are currently situated in Ghana, West Africa
Our key areas of impact include: Empowering educators and schools, Educational Technology to improve literacy, Providing educational resources , Advocacy and policy influence and Fostering community and Collaboration.
Our Approach
Our approach begins by identifying Basic schools in Rural communities in deplorable state who desperately need assistance. We engage with the various stakeholders- Ministry of Education, chiefs, education directors, headmasters, teachers, parents and students in other to further understand the challenge and come up with practical and sustainable solutions.
Beyond providing sustainable solutions,we engage with educators, policymakers and school leaders on how to improve education across the continent. Our 12 months round table discussions, podcasts and live conversations focus on practical solutions that can transform basic school education
